Before coming to Japan, I couldn't even hold a regular con-versation. But when I was an international student, I was able to improve my Japanese through my part-time job. Finding a job wasn't easy, but I practiced job inter-views many times, and was able to find work as a permanent employee. CurriculumJapanese Language DepartmentStandard Course (Job Searching)This course enables students to take advantage of the know-how at TIBC and enter the hospitality industry. ●Features of Study:*N3 Level of Japanese Required❶ Students aim to find work directly after attending the Japanese Lan-guage Department. In year 1, students achieve the necessary level of Japa-nese for finding work. In year 2, students understand their own aptitudes from self-analysis, and TIBC offers guidance on resumes and job interviews. ❷ Students acquire the Japanese required for the service industry. Study is primarily focused on the necessary vocabulary and polite Japanese needed in the hospitality field. By learning the hospitality way of thinking and that mindset, students can grow into talents that can adapt to their jobs soon after finding them. ❸ Students can take advantage of the features of the Japanese Language Department at TIBC and participate in qualification strategies seminars. They can challenge themselves to acquire qualifications such as bookkeep-ing and MOS.❹ In our internship system, students can participate in internships where they gain valuable experience as working adults at hotels that have relation-ships with TIBC.
